Our Origins
STIX was born out of a uniquely millennial origin story.
Our Co-founder started a sustainability podcast during the UK’s 2020 Covid lockdown, with one of the very first episodes profiling a sustainable jeans brand. Over the course of the episode, he learned just how severe and destructive to the environment the fashion industry is.
It produces 10% of global carbon emissions and conceals some of the worst sustainability and ethics practices of any industry on Earth. With this ringing in his ears, he knew he had to do something about it.
So what to call his new mission? One day he was watching his young son play with a pile of twigs in the forest. Realising he wanted to leave a better world for the next generation, STIX was born.

We have built a roster of the most exciting, sustainably sourced and ethically manufactured menswear brands available anywhere and brought them all together in one platform.
But we aren’t stopping there - we are determined to shine a light on the impact of fast men’s fashion and recruit as many men as possible to our cause - to shop sustainably and create a brighter future, and look great while doing it.
We are growing a community of people, brands and partners who express their individuality all while helping make the world a better, healthier place for the next generation and beyond.

Our Future
We want to kill fast mens fashion, but we can’t do it alone.
Our goal is a marketplace where you can shop for fashion that is 100% free from plastic or synthetic materials, made from 100% sustainable materials and where every brand has a circular business model for recycling clothes at the end of their life.
We’re not there yet, but working tirelessly to reach that goal. We’re 100% free of virgin plastic, and only allow plastic onto our platform if it is 100% recycled. Some minor details like buttons are still polyester, but we are working with our partners to establish take-back schemes for all our brands.
Our goal will always be a work in progress. All we can do is reiterate our full, unwavering commitment to raising the bar every day and never letting our standards drop. Rest assured, we will always be honest with ourselves and with you.
